CLA1000 Class A Transponder is an AIS transponder that can be equipped on any IMO certified vessel. Although Class A transponders are typically used for larger vessels, we recommend that CLA1000 can be fixed onto fast moving smaller vessels. The reason is being CLA1000 transmits AIS data every 3 seconds, compared to Class B AIS transponders every 30 seconds.

An added benefit is that your boat will always be shown on the Class A transponders and electronic navigational chart on board large commercial vessels. The price point of CLA1000 is affordable relative to other Class A transponders in the market.
